Unboxing the Gaahleri Aventus Airbrush

Grace X Lovejoy

After over 30 years in the industry, it takes a lot to get me excited about a new airbrush. But the Gaahleri Aventus is different. I’ve been a huge fan of Gaahleri ever since I switched from my old Paasche Talon, and I haven’t looked back. The Aventus is their latest creation, and I’m unboxing it today to see if it lives up to the hype.

Right out of the box, the Aventus feels like a premium product. The packaging is sophisticated, and the airbrush itself has a nice weight to it. The “Black Aurora” finish is stunning, and as someone who loves painting auroras, I can’t wait to see what this airbrush can do.

Inside the box, you’ll find two sizes of cups w/ lids, both a 0.2mm and 0.4mm tips, with matching needles, nozzles, a quick disconnect adapter attached, and some extra washers. The build quality is impressive, and every part feels finely tooled and well-made.

This was a quick, first impression unboxing before I had a flight to catch. So with the clock ticking I took a minute to run some water through the airbrush to get a feel for it. Everything feels smooth and REALLY responsive! I love all the accessories included as well. One thing I can say that really impressed me was the look and feel of the airbrush. It felt great in my hand. In comparison to my old airbrush, the Paasche Talon, I can say I’m really pleased!

I’m so excited to put this airbrush to the test. In my next video, I’ll be using the Aventus on a real project to see how it performs. Subscribe to my channel and stay tuned for Part 2 of my Gaahleri Aventus review!
